In 2015, Philippe took the jump from lap steel & slide guitar into the wonderful world of pedal steel. Bronchtein has developed a unique style often compared to Daniel Lanois, but still drawing on the traditional sounds of classic country. He has three pedal steels. A Franklin D-10, a sparkle blue Carter Pro SD-10d, and a red and black Carter Pro D-10. He has played steel guitar on stages across the country, backing up artists like Mickey Guyton, Chase Rice, The War and Treaty, Warren Zeiders, JP Harris, Caitlin Canty, Pony Bradshaw, Buffalo Gospel, The Danberrys, and many more.
